I love the drama and the interest that you can create with charcoal. And I love the happy accidents, like that spray of charcoal beyond the top-left edge of the sphere. A quick sketch I did off the back of another one that wasn’t so successful last night. I love the night sky, and I’m sure I’ll return to trying to draw and paint stars, planets, the moon, and anything else that’s up there.
