The value of sketchbooks
A great episode from Art Juice on the value of sketchbooks. I really enjoy sketching and experimenting in my sketchbooks, and I usually take one with me when I go out. I’m also constantly amazed and inspired by OutsideAuthority‘s sketchbooks.
Painting – L2!
I’ve finally signed up for the level-2 painting class at Browne. I’m looking forward to being back in that environment and learning and growing as a painter.
Artistic priorities

Toi Tū Toi Ora: Contemporary Māori Art
Went and saw this exhibition last night. Phenomenal. I raced around it in an hour, but I really should have spent at least two hours there. Such a variety of work, and I liked many of the pieces. I think I’ll have to go back a second time—maybe with the kids.
