My first exercise from 101 Techniques: Acrylics. I thinned my acrylics and used them more like watercolours here.
This is my first attempt at a larger canvas (12×16″) and my own composition. It’s based on a photo I took.
The couch is a bit rough (I decided to add that after drawing the brush), but I’m pleased that I managed to capture the bristles of the brush reasonably well.
